insurance plans that are designed for foreign nationals living outside the
country for which they hold a passport.
The
policies noted below are
not available residents in Florida or the Province of BC.

International Medical Group (IMG) Global Medical
International Health Plan
With Global Medical Insurance you have a choice of three plan options:
Silver, Gold and Platinum. Simply choose one that best fits your needs.
The Silver and Gold plans provide US$5,000,000 of lifetime coverage, while
the Platinum plan provides US$8,000,000. All three plans offer a full
range of benefits suited for individuals and families. There are two
coverage area options: worldwide or worldwide excluding the U.S. and
Canada. Both options provide coverage 24 hours a day, and you have the
freedom to choose any doctor or hospital for treatment. When you select
Global Medical Insurance, you receive IMG’s commitment to deliver world
class health benefits, medical assistance and total peace of mind.
As part of the eligibility requirements for Global Medical Insurance, U.S.
citizens must reside abroad or plan to leave the U.S. on their effective
date and plan to reside abroad for at least six of the next 12 months.
Non-U.S. citizens may reside anywhere, including their country of
citizenship, although certain eligibility restrictions may apply to non-U.S.
citizens residing in the U.S.

IMG Plan Highlights
- With Global Medical Insurance you have a choice of four
plan options: Silver, Gold, Gold Plus, and Platinum. Simply choose one
that best fits your needs. The Silver, Gold and Gold Plus plans provide
$5,000,000 of lifetime coverage, while the Platinum plan provides
$8,000,000. All four plans offer a full range of benefits suited for
individuals and families.
- There are two coverage area options: worldwide or
worldwide excluding the U.S. and Canada. Both options provide coverage
24 hours a day, and you have the freedom to choose any doctor or
hospital for treatment
- After the deductible, GMI pays 80% of the
next US$5,000 in eligible expenses and then 100% of eligible expenses
incurred in the United States and Canada up to the policy maximums. For
eligible expenses incurred outside United States and Canada GMI will pay
100% of eligible expenses after the deductible up to the policy maximum.
- If treated in USA using First Health
NETWORK - Independent Nationwide PPO, the deductible is reduced by 50% and
coinsurance is waived
- USD $5 Million or $8 Million lifetime
limits
- Pre-existing conditions after 24 months of
coverage covered up to US $50,000 lifetime.
- Optional Maternity coverage - Pre and
Post-natal care will be covered after 12 months of continuous coverage up
to a lifetime maximum of $50,000. The benefit is limited to $5,000 per
normal delivery and $7,500 per C- Section delivery.
- Newborns from eligible maternities are now
eligible without evidence of medical insurability. An application and
premium must be submitted within the first 31 days of birth
- As part of the eligibility requirements
for Global Medical Insurance, U.S. citizens must reside abroad or plan
to leave the U.S. on their effective date and plan to reside abroad for

IMG plans are not COBRA or HIPPA compliant.

This deluxe international health insurance plan is for international citizens &
expatriates who want:
- Choice of no or $400, $1600, $5000 & $10000 US deductibles.
You can also purchase in Pounds Sterling and Euro.
- Several plan options offered -
Choice of In-Patient/Out Patient or just Hospital Only Plan
coverage.
- 100% coverage of most expenses regardless
of where you seek treatment, including in the USA.
- Ability to keep the plan for life guaranteed
- All nationalities considered
- Premiums are age related only, not based on
country of residence
- Possibility of obtaining cover in spite of
most pre-existing conditions, either with a surcharge or with an
exclusion
- Greater potential portability and ability to take plan
home, even to USA, if your local state permits
- Great for seniors - can apply up to age
79! (extra age premium loading for over 60)
- Option for Vision and Dental
- Maternity coverage (see brochure) - only applies
after policy in-force for more than 12 months - see plan terms and
conditions
- Children up to age 9 are covered for free
- up to 4 children under 10 years per family (2 per paying insured)
are covered free of charge - children covered immediately at
birth
- No exclusions for sporting activities except motocross
- Medical evacuation is an option
